Martial Law Order: SAC issued Martial Law Order (3/2024)

The State Administration council issued a Martial Law Order (3/2024) on 4th March, 2024.

The Martial Law Order 3/2024 stated that the SAC has transferred the executive and judiciary power to the Commander of North-East Command to exercise the Martial Law under Section 419 of the Constitution to enforce security, the rule of law and community peace in Mantong, Namhsam and Namtu townships of Shan State.

The military command commander himself can exercise Martial Law power as well as transfer the power to military region commanders depending on the timely changing of situations. The order is signed by Lt-Gen. Aung Lin Dwe, the secretary of the State Administration Council.
