Mass Rallies :People’s Military Service Law is supported

Originally enacted by the State Peace and Development Council in 2010 through Order No.27/2010, it is already announced that People’s Military Service Law came into force starting from 10th February, 2024 signed by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Regarding to this, the mass rallies supporting the Peoples’ Military Service Law took place at Shwe Man Taung Youth’s Play Ground at the foothill of Mandalay Hill, Independence Monument Campus in POL, Shwe Ceti Pagoda Compound in Kyaukse, District Sports Ground in Meikhtila, Kantha Garden in Magwe respectively.

The local patriotic people from the respective townships firstly gathered at the designated points and marched to each of the organizing places.

Along the way of marching, the participants shouted the slogans in unison such as “Every citizen is responsible to take military duties to prevent the State and learn military skills to protect three main national causes; Fully support the People’s Military Service Law; Let’s take the military duties by the whole nation to prevent the State against local and foreign fears; Preventing the State’s Independence, Sovereignty and Stability of the Union is a duty for the whole nation”. The people in the masses showed their ultimate supports at the targeted places and dispersed peacefully, it’s learnt.
