Meeting with Assembly: SAC Chairman met with assembly of Pathein Station

Chairman of State Administration Council Commander In chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the officers, ranks and families of Pathein Station, South-West Command in the afternoon on 20th January and delivered a speech.
Along with the Chairman of State Administration Council Commander In chief of Defense Services, wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Commander In Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Zwe Win Myint and wife, Commander In Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and wife, Senior military officials from the Office of Commander In Chief and wives, Commander of South-West Command Brigadier General Wei Lin and officials, officers, ranks and families of Pathein Station attended.
First, the SAC Chairman said the causes led to the taking of State responsibilities by the Tatmadaw, implementations of pre work processes to be able to hold the free and fair multiparty democracy General election and work implementations are being carried out with the objective of transferring State Power to the government elected by the free and fair multiparty democracy General election.
Since October, 2023, in the north-east region, armed conflict related to some ethnic armed groups which is the attempt to take Power by shortcut approach rejecting approach in line with the law, as the country is on the path of democratic system which is desired by the entire people, the democratic practices and norms should be respected.
The Commander In Chief also gave guidance of qualifications for the Defense service personnel to have, disciplinary and moral principles to be adopted, efforts for the progress in life, pursuing knowledge by reading books and uplifting education, unity among the service personnel.
Next, the Chairman of State Administration Council Commander In chief of Defense Services provided foodstuff for the officers, ranks and families to the South-West Commander and the wife of SAC Chairman Commander In Chief provided cash assistance for the Maternal and Child Welfare Association of the Station to the wife of the Commander.
After the meeting, the Chairman of State Administration Council Commander In chief of Defense Services and members cordially greeted the officers, ranks and families attended to the meeting.
