Memorial ceremony near wreckage of Sewol ferry

On Tuesday, South Korea commemorated the 10th anniversary of the nation's most devastating maritime tragedy, in which hundreds of schoolchildren lost their lives after the overloaded Sewol ferry capsized and sank.
A Coast Guard vessel transported some of the victims' families to the site of the sinking early Tuesday for a special ceremony. The ceremony was held at a port in Mokpo, near the recovered wreckage of the Sewol ferry.
