Motion Picture Academy Award: Preparations underway in Nay Pyi Taw’s MICC-1

Preparations are currently in progress for the upcoming 2023 Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Award Presenting Ceremony at the Myanmar International Convention Center-1 in Nay Pyi Taw.

On Monday, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Ceremony, oversaw various preparations.

The Union Minister and party inspected the preparations at the key areas, including the entrance archway, venue for fitting the golden brooch, fashion booth, photo booth, interview booth, and the red carpet venue.

Additionally, they examined the Jade Hall, where the ceremony is scheduled to take place, and reviewed the construction of the Academy Award Presenting Stag as well as the installation of LED boards, the entertainment stage site, audio system and power supply, seating plan, media zone, venue for interviewing the award winners, Fashion Award judges' seating arrangements, and the Academy Award Receptionists' setup.

During a meeting, the Union Minister and attendees discussed on crucial aspects such as LED boards, the audio and power supply system, accommodation for attendees, transportation, and health and security matters.

The Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Award Presenting Ceremony for 2023 is scheduled to be held on 3rd February at the Myanmar International Convention Center-1 in Nay Pyi Taw. The Fashion Awards will be among the highlights, recognizing outstanding achievements among attending artists alongside the prestigious Academy Awards.
