MSME Businesses: Economic development initiatives flourish in Shan State

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, accompanied by officials, visited the Myanmar Belle Dehydrated Vegetable Factory in Wahyonepin Village of Heho Township in Kalaw District on Friday.

The factory operates as one of the MSME businesses, with assistance from the State Economic Promotion Fund. It exports coffee and dehydrated vegetables to Japan, with its products gaining recognition in Japan and Korea as "Made in Myanmar" items.

During the visit, the Chief Minister and party also toured the Avocado Trade Center of Shan Orchard Myanmar Ltd. in Myay Char village. This facility produces 100 liters of avocado oil daily for local distribution, utilizing produces from nearby farmers and the factory's own raw materials. Additionally, the factory manufactures various finished products such as body lotion, hair tonic, lip balm, hair treatment solution, body soap, facial foam, and sunscreen for the local market.
