Myanmar Delegation in Laos: Laos hosts 20th ASEAN Central Bank Governors’ Meeting

On April 5th, Laos hosted the 20th ASEAN Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (ACGM) and the 11th ASEAN Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (AFMGM) in Luang Prabang.

Led by Central Bank Governor Daw Than Than Swe, a delegation from Myanmar took part in these regional gatherings. The meetings discussed various topics, including the priority tasks earmarked for implementation by the Lao Central Bank.

Additionally, delegates assessed the progress of work undertaken by the ASEAN Financial Integration Work Committees, operating under the purview of the ASEAN Senior Level Committee. The agenda also included deliberations on sustainability in financial cooperation and updates regarding the ASEAN Swap Arrangement (ASA).
