Myanmar Situation Update: SAC Information Team makes clarifications

Leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council Major General Zaw Min Tun on Sunday provided update on the situation in Myanmar.

The Major General highlighted the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister’s unexpected visit to Lashio, meeting with temporary displaced persons, giving words of comforting, providing 500 million Kyats of cash assistance, clothes and foodstuff, also a visit to military hospital in Lashio, overseeing the health of the Tatmadawmen and family members, cordially meeting with them, providing 500 million Kyats of cash assistance, fulfilling requirements reported by Tatmadawmen and family members and giving words of encouragement, Union Ministers’ visits to the relevant hospitals, temporary relief camps for the displaced persons, university and training school, giving words of encouragement and fulfilling requirements, the armed engagements in Shan State (North), Kayah State and Rakhine State.
