Nay Pyi Taw Splash Walk: A vibrant celebration of Thingyan unity

Myanmar's capital, Nay Pyi Taw, is crowded with revelers celebrating the traditional Thingyan water festival. With an array of entertainment programs featuring Korean K-Pop artists and renowned performers, the Nay Pyi Taw Splash Walk attracts revelers from far and near.
Stretching from the Mayor Maha Thingyan Pavilion to the intersection of Sipin Guesthouse Road, the Nay Pyi Taw Splash Walk promises to bring happiness to government employees and citizens alike on a grand scale.
With 26 Thingyan pavilions, including Ethnic Thingyan, Saduthitha Thingyan, Ministries’ Thingyan, and Youths’ Thingyan, as well as international pavilions including one from the Russian Embassy and the Myanmar-China Friendship Association, every comer enjoys the festival to their heart's content.
The festival also caters to young people and children, offering attractions such as an international water slide, foam party, inflatable tanks, slides, and DJ performances. Moreover, recreation places around Nay Pyi Taw provide arrangements for the public to take part in the water festival.
At the same time, people can pay homage to prominent pagodas including Maravijaya Buddha Image, Uppatasandhi Pagoda, and others.
