Paying Goodwill Visit: C-In-C of Royal Thai Airforce paid goodwill visit

By the invitation of the Commander In Chief (air) General Tun Aung, a delegation led by the Commander In Chief of Royal Thai Air Force Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul and wife who pay an official goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar arrived at Nay Pyi Taw Airport in the morning on 22nd November and were welcome by the Senior officials from Tatmadaw (Air) and Thai military attaché to Myanmar.

Next, the Commander In Chief of Royal Thai Airforce Air Chief Marshal and members visited the Memorial to Fallen Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw), laid flower basket of honor in front of the monument, saluted the falling heroes and signed on the guest book.

The Commander In Chief (air) General Tun Aung welcome the Commander In Chief of Royal Thail Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul with the guard of honor at Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw.

First, the Commander In Chief (air) General Tun Aung and Commander In Chief of Royal Thail Air Chief Marshal received the salute and inspected the guard of honor.

After introducing the officials of Airforce of both countries, Commander In Chief of Royal Thai Airforce Air Chief Marshal signed on the guest book of Bayintnaung Villa.

Afterward, Commander In Chief (Air) General Tun Aung met and discussed with the delegation led by the Commander In Chief of Royal Thai Airforce Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul.

At the meeting, the matters on paying exchange goodwill visits between Myanmar and Thailand, sending trainees, acceleration of relation between the two Air-forces, rescue measures at the time of experiencing disasters, technical exchange and the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief-HADR were cordially discussed.

After the meeting, the two Commanders In Chief of Airforce exchanged commemorated medals and posed for the documentary group photo. In the evening, the Commander In Chief (Air) General Tun Aung hosted diner of honor at Kispa-nadi Hall, Bagan building of Jasmine Hotel and the delegation led by the Commander In Chief of Royal Thai Airforce and wife attended and enjoyed the dinner together friendly.

Before and during the dinner, the entertainment groups presented with the songs.

The Commander In Chief   of Royal Thai Airforce Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul and wife paid homage to the Uppatasanti Pagoda, observed the white elephants, paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image, the tallest of its kind globally and situated in the Buddha Park of Dakkhinathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw, offered flowers, water and lamps and observed stone inscription stupas and religious buildings and the officials concerned took them around.
