Paying homage to Buddha Image: Music Division paid homage to Buddha Image

Artistes from the music division of Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV-Yangon) visited the magnificent Maravijaya Buddha Image and Buddha Park in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday morning.

First, they paid homage to Maravijaya Buddha Image and viewed the miniature models of Maravijaya Buddha Image and Buddha Park, the religious items used in the Maha Mingala ceremonies, the golden bowls containing sacred Buddha and Arhat relics, the miniature models of Buddha Statue and 10 kinds of aesthetic Myanmar traditional arts, stone inscriptions of 24 conditional relations, AggadipatiSasana Beikman,stone plaque chamber cetis in whichthe religious sacred scriptures inscribed in Pali and Romanized languages, Nagayon Pagoda and other religious buildings.

The Music division of (MRTV-Yangon) is comprised of three sections named Myanmar Saingwaing, National SymphonyOrchestra and Modern Music. This group paid homage to Maravijaya Buddha Image during the arrival at NayPyiTaw to perform at the reception and dinner party of 76th anniversary of Independence Day which falls on 4th January.
