Platinum Pathein: Mixed-Used Development Project In Pathein

Platinum Pathein Mixed-Used Development Project was re-launched with a ceremony in Yangon on Wednesday.

Under the permission of Ayeyarwaddy Region Government, the project has started since 2016 by Mya Bay  Development Company Limited aiming to build up standard living oasis in the region along with promoting economic development and tourism as it is located on Yagon-Pathein-Chaung Tha-Ngwe Saung Highway.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, FORTUMAX, Win Lei Lei Kyi said “The reason why we choose Ayeyarwaddy region is that it is located very near from Yangon and the population is not too different from Yangon. So, we can say that Ayeryarwaddy Region is one of the domestic economic strategic places after Yangon. Not only our project but also industrial city project will be in the region. So, we are going to cooperate and implement for the development.”

The project is on 15.28 acre land and includes the construction of plaza, hotels, restaurants, parks and affordable villa projects.

Admin Executive, Mya Bay Development Co., Ltd, Nang Si Moon Tip said “Plaza includes restaurants, banks and souvenir shops. We are going to help to get market for the regional products. And also people can relax in the compound when travelling.”

Currently about 6.2 million of people are living in Ayeyarwaddy Region. At the same time, as being Ayeyarwaddy Region is one of the places for new business opportunities as well as for investments, the project can be supported for region’s developments and country’s economy.
