Political party registration :“The Party for People” allowed to register

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar Union Election Commission issued an Announcement No 53/2023 on 21st December 2023 allowing “The Party for People” to be registered as political party.

The announcement reads that The Party for People, with its headquarters located at Building No 4/361, 12th Kaya Street, Thingangyungyi Ward, Mingaladon Township, Yangon, has been allowed to register as of 21 December 2023, under Section 9 of the Political Parties Registration Law.

The registration number of The Party for People is 46. The announcement was signed by the Chairman of Union Election Commission U Thein Soe.
