Power Supply in Mandalay : Plans for enhanced power transmission and efficiency

A work coordination meeting was held at the Mandalay Electric Power Supply Corporation on Sunday, focusing on strategies to improve power transmission and reduce power loss in Mandalay Region. Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun explained the ongoing plans to expand power generation, ensuring increased power availability to meet the growing demand in the region.

Simultaneously, concerted efforts are underway to prevent power outages, minimize power loss, and maintain a stable power supply. The Union Minister emphasized the need for collaborative efforts from all stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.

Attendees provided updates on the current power supply conditions, the annual growth of power consumption, and outlined plans to mitigate power loss while addressing the efficient collection of electricity bills. During the meeting, the Union Minister also distributed cash assistance to the staff.
