Practitioners Conference: Four proposals approved during the session

The 22nd Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practitioners Conference and Seminar convened at the Myanmar International Convention Center (2) in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday. Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win presided over the morning session of the conference and gave an opening speech.

During the conference, representatives submitted four proposals addressing key areas such as promoting cooperation with international counterparts for the development of traditional medicines, conducting research and awareness activities for potent traditional medicines, collaboration with related organizations for practitioner training, and accelerating efforts for public health treatment and awareness of traditional medicines.

The session also documented a video message from Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thayay Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing, and the opening speech from the Patron of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Conference and Seminar, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, and Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win.

The meeting concluded by seeking and obtaining approval for the submitted proposals.
