Princess of Japan Kako visits Peru's Andean city of Cusco

Princess Kako of Japan, the second daughter of Crown Prince Akishino embarked on an official visit to Peru. The visit was marked with the purpose of commemorating the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Peru. On November 3rd, Princess Kako visited the Foreign Ministry in Lima’s old town.
She attended a ceremony dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The Princess’s tour included visits to several of Peru’s key sites. These visits underlined the importance of cultural exchange and mutual appreciation in fostering diplomatic ties.
