Promoting Cooperation :Yangon Region Chief Minister meets Russian delegation

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein received the delegation led by Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov at Yangon Region Government office on Friday morning.

During the meeting, they have frank and open discussion on the issues related to the further promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation of the two countries, designation of Myanmar’s Yangon and Russia's St. Petersburg as sister cities, Russia’s further investment in Yangon, cultural exchange, tourism development and electricity, agriculture, livestock and technical issues.

They also talked about cultural and social issues, as well as Yangon’s zoo development and operating air flights between Yangon and Moscow.
