Providing cash and relief items: MoSWRR UM provided cash and relief items

Union Minister of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win together with Shan State Chief Minister in the morning on December 10 visited gathering place of temporary displayed persons from armed conflicts from Shan State and Kayah State to Lashio and provided them with cash for rice and food and the necessary relief supplies and gave words of encouragement to them.

First, the Union Minister and Chief Minister arrived at Kan Mein monastery in Lashio Gyi ward and provided one million Kyats of cash assistance, 2.655 million Kyats of cash for rice provision for the temporary displaced persons from armed conflict and handed over foodstuff and clothes provided by the head of State and gave words of comfort. 

At the gathering place of Shwe Pyi Aye Dhamma Yeiktha in Aung Thitar ward, the Union Minister and Chief Minister provided one million Kyats of cash assistance, 2.448 million Kyats of cash for rice provision for the temporary displaced persons from armed conflict and handed over foodstuff and clothes provided by the head of State and gave words of comfort.

At the relief camp in Ar Yon Taw Ward, the Union Minister and Chief Minister provided relief items and one million Kyats of cash assistance, 729,000 Kyats of cash for rice provision for the temporary displaced persons from armed conflict and handed over foodstuff and clothes provided by the head of State and gave words of comfort.

At the Thirimingalar Mansu Shan monastery, the Union Minister and Chief Minister provided one million Kyats of cash assistance, 6.696 million Kyats of cash for rice provision for the temporary displaced persons from armed conflict and handed over foodstuff and clothes provided by the head of State and gave words of comfort.

The Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided 12.528 million Kyats for rice provision for 387 households constituted 1392 people and the temporary displaced people from armed conflicts in Lashio Township were provided with 77.175 million Kyats, it’s learnt.
