Providing relief assistance: SAC Chairman met displaced persons in Lashio

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, members of entourage and their wives visited ThirimingalarMansu Shan monastery, met with the temporary displaced persons and gave comforted words to them in the afternoon on December 10.

First, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and wife and members paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw of Mansu Shan monastery Dr. Baddanta Punnananda, offered small replicas of Maravijaya Buddha Image, offertories, 500 million Kyats for the temporary displaced persons staying in Lashio, over 6000 clothes, rice and foodstuff. The presiding Sayadaw replied that the provided assistances will be distributed to all displaced persons who are actually needed.

Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister cordially met with the temporary displaced persons at ThirimingalarMansu Shan monastery and said that the efforts will be made for them to resettle in their native places, it’s needed to cooperate rehabilitation works when they get back at their places, government and the Tatmadaw will provided requirements as much as they can, currently, the foodstuff and commodities will be fulfilled and further assistances will be sent, prevailing of peace and stability in the region will be provided as quickly as possible.

Then, the SAC Chairman and wife provided foodstuff and commodities and the temporary displaced persons accepted and replied with the words of thanks. When the SAC Chairman, wife and members departed from ThirimingalarMansu Shan monastery, the temporary displaced persons said good bye by waving hands.

Next, the SAC Chairman, wife and members arrived at the North-East Command and provided 500 million Kyats for the officers, ranks and family members who are serving security duty in the region and the Commander accepted. Then, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and wife cordially greeted the officers, ranks and family members, gave words of comforting and provided clothes and foodstuff.
