Receiving Chair of KMFA: MoRC UM receives Chair of KMFA

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin received the Chairman of Korea-Myanmar Friendship Association of the Republic of Korea Dr. Sang Kyung Chan (Venerable MOKTAK) at the Ministry in Yangon on Sunday.

During the meeting, both sides cordially discussed matters on promotion of cooperation in religous affairs between the two countries and collaborative efforts in creating study and job opportunities for Myanmar youths in Republic of Korea. Then, the Union Minister and the chairman of Korea-Myanmar Friendship Association of the Republic of Korea Dr. Sang Kyung Chan exchanged memorial gifts.

The meeting was also attended by Permanent Secretary, pro-rector of the International Theravada Buddhist Univeristy and concerned officials from the Department for the Promotion and Propagation of the Sasana.
