Receiving Title: SAC Chairman received Title bestowed by Russian President

The secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation Mr. Nikolai PATRUSHEV paid a courtesy call to the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and vested the Order of Alexander Nevsky Tile conferred by the President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin to the SAC Chairman Prime Minister in the afternoon on December 5 and discussed the acceleration of bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, SAC Deputy Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe win, SAC joint-secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Union Minister of the Ministry of the Union Government Office (2) U Ko Ko Hlaing and officials and the secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation Mr. Nikolai PATRUSHEV and Russian Federation ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Iskander AZIZOV and officials.

At the meeting, the SAC Chairman Prime minister extended greeting to the delegation led by the secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation.Next, the secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation expressed his gratitude for the warmly welcome for his delegation, the President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin conferred the Order of Alexander Nevsky Title to the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing for his greatly valuable endeavors for the development of comprehensive cooperation with Russian Federation and the Order of Friendship Title was vested to the SAC Vice Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win and those titles are wanted to bestow.

Then, the secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation vested the Order of Alexander Nevsky Title to the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.Consequently, the secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation also vested the Order of Friendship Title to the SAC Vice Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win.

Then, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for receiving the Title conferred by the President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin and discussed the matters on international and ASEAN affairs, the scenario of shifting from Uni Polar to Multi Polar and the situation of declining the influence of one powerful country and the cooperation of multi countries, the status of standing at Myanmar side in the international front, Myanmar’s stance for the integration of Russian Federation’s sovereignty, enhancement of bilateral Defense and security cooperation, bilateral collaboration on Anti-Terrorism, information exchange for combatting the terrorism, the status of direct payment system with the neighboring countries etc.
