RMS Applied Training: MoL UM gave remark at the training

Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung attended and gave a remark at the applied training of Remittance Management System (RMS) for the personnel who will serve the duty at the Certificate of Identity (CI) issuing camps in the afternoon on December 20.

In his remark, the Union Minister said that the CI book is issued for Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand to receive work permit and visa in line with the labour laws, to entitle the rights of official workers, carry out to receive document of evidence within Thailand without going back to Myanmar as well as save the time and cost.

The CI camps will be opened in Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan, Surat Thani, Chonburi and Pathum Thani and the Mobile Units in Songkhla, Chiang Mai and Nakhon Sawan at the first week of January, 2024. Union Minister elaborated the operation process of RMS Mobile Application and the work process of issuing CI in Thailand.

Next, the Directors General of the Department of Department of Electronic Identification System and Department of Labour and Deputy Director General of the Department of Internal Revenue clarified the EID system, CI issuing processes and collecting 2% of tax.Afterward, the Union Minister and party viewed the practical work process of issuing CI.
