The royal white elephant: "RatthaNandaka," turned one year and 9 months old

A male Royal White Elephant titled RahtaNandaka born to a 33-year-old female elephant called Zar Nan Hla from an elephant herd owned by Myanma Timber Enterprise in Taungup Township of Rakhine State at 6:30 AM on July 23, 2022, is living healthily and happily with his mother elephant at the Royal White Elephant Hall of Royal White Elephant Garden in Nay Pyi Taw.

The baby elephant stands at two feet and five inches in height, three feet and one inch in girth, with a birth weight of about 180 pounds. It possesses seven out of eight unique characteristics of white elephants, such as pearl-colored eyes, a plantain branch-shaped back, white hair, a distinctive tail, auspicious plot signs on the skin, reddish-brown or pinkish skin, five claws on the front legs and four on the back legs, and big ears.
At present, the royal white elephant “RahtaNandaka” turns one year and nine months old andhis height has grown to 4 feet and 1 inche, 6 feet and 8 inches in girth and his weight is 1,293 pounds. He is now living happily at the Royal White Elephant Hall of Royal White Elephant Garden in Nay Pyi Taw.

It is reported that the baby white elephant RatthaNandaka has been tamed since childhood and is being trained by the Peace Human and Elephant Interaction Training system to be much tamer.
