Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, accompanied by officials, visited Kinlut Village in Sintkai Township of Mandalay Region on Saturday.

During the visit, he engaged with local villagers, explaining the plans for infrastructure development aimed at bridging the gap between urban and rural areas.

The Union Minister emphasized the importance of community cooperation for the emergence of commercial agriculture production industries. Following the meeting, the Union Minister and party inspected the progress of the Village Development Project, including the concrete paving of road and installation of water purifiers.

Subsequently, they proceeded to Ohnpinchan Village, where they met with members of cooperative associations and local residents. After receiving updates on ongoing projects, the Union Minister addressed the needs of the community. They then inspected a 20-ton capacity Rice Mill operated by the Township Cooperative Association.

The Union Minister provided guidance to ensure the efficiency and sustainability of the rice mill's operations. In Kyaukse Township, the Union Minister and party inspected the road upgrading project connecting Taung Nauk and Thin Taung Villages, emphasizing the importance of long-term durability.

Later, at the City Hall, the Union Minister and party attended the completion ceremony of Basic and Advanced Training for Bakery & Snack. Union Minister U Hla Moe highlighted the training's goal of promoting the development of small-scale enterprises to generate income for rural families.

Chief Minister U Myo Aung urged participants to seize opportunities effectively, encouraging them to apply for business licenses at the Small Scale Industries Department. During the ceremony, outstanding trainees received 1 million kyats in cash assistance and equipment to support their entrepreneurial ventures.
