Rural Development: MCRD Union Minister inspects the development works

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe together with officials on Friday, inspected the work progress of road extension and grave paving on Sri Khestra ancient zone circular road in Pyay Township. Officials reported on work undertakings and the Union Minister instructed for long term maintenance of the facilities.

The Union Minister and party later arrived at Taunglone Nyo Village and met with the village committee members, local farmers and villagers. He heard reports on implementation of village development works and urged all to strive for boosting agricultural produces and regional development works.

The Union Minister later viewed the displays of local products by the Emerald Green Village Project and Vocation Training as well as the paving of concrete on the village road and seasonal crop plantations.

At Patikone in Thaekone Township, the Union Minister met with the farmers and officials and instructed the need to make cooperative efforts for development of agriculture sector. After that, the Union Minister and party viewed the displays of farm implement, seeds and agricultural inputs.
