Special postage stamp: Special postage stamp to be issued

Innwa era Myanmar monk classical poet Shin Maha Ratthasara with the child’s name of Maung Mauk was born in 1468 A.D and it’s been full of 555 years in 2023.

In honor of monk classical poet Shin Maha Ratthasara composed various genres of poem in Innawa era, The Myanmar Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will issue a special postage stamp (worth K200 each) at 9:30 am on 13th December 2023. 

The special stamp will be sold at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, General Postoffices in Yangon and Mandalay and other post offices in each region and state at the same time. As a special programme, the postage stamps purchased on 13th December 2023 at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, the Yangon Post Office and the Mandalay Post Office will have the embossed date marking.
