Spiritual and Communal Well-Being: Myanmar New Year DhammaThabin in Bago Region

The Bago Region Government recently organized a three-day Myanmar New Year DhammaThabin, drawing participation from various officials, including Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and his wife.
The event, held annually, aims to foster the physical and mental well-being of citizens not only in the region but across the nation.
Additionally, charity feasts were provided to attendees, enhancing the communal spirit of the occasion.
Tin Oo, Economic Minister, Bago Region Government said "Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, officials at the respective levels of Bago Region Government, joining hands with the social organizations and volunteers, organized this Dhamma donation ceremony. Charity feasts were also served to the public who came to listen to the preaching of Dhamma. "
Prominent Sayadaws such as the Secretary Sayadaw of the State Sangha Welfare Committee, a member Sayadaw of the State Sangha MahaNayaka Committee, and the SasanaJotikaSayadaw of Bago, graced each day of the event, imparting valuable Dhamma teachings and blessings to the audience.
Win Win Maw said "As a Buddhist devotee, it’s very satisfaction to listen to the sermon in the time of New Year. We can get invaluable admonishment from the Sayadaws. "
The DhammaThabin took place from 17th to 19th April, spreading goodwill and communal spirit in Bago Region.
