Sports Sector: Final match for Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup

With the aim to turning out new generation of athletes in Mon State and promote the role of sports and youth, the final match and awarding ceremony of Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup 10 townships U-25 Men Basketball competition was held at the State Sports Hall in Mawlamyine Township on Friday and it was attended by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, State Ministers, concern officials and contestant athletes. After the final match of Mawlamyine and Thahton team, cash prizes and medals were presented to the winners and winning teams, and the cup went to the 1st prize winner Mawlamyine basketball team.
