Spreading Fake News: False news on arson attack against village

It is found that one of the destructive media outlets, Khit Thit media released the fake news on social media describing that the Tatmadaw burned down the eastern side of Aung Chan Thar village in Debayin Township in Sagaing Region on 17th December morning.

Regarding the fake news, the Tatmadaw Columns did not operate any security measures in the area near Debayin Township and did not burned down the Aung Chan Thar village. It’s reported that the illegal and destructive media are releasing fake news with the intention of inciting the country’s stability.
