Traditional Medicine: 22nd Conference and Seminar commences in Nay Pyi Taw

The 22nd Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practitioners’ Conference and Seminar kicked off in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday with the opening ceremony attended by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win.

The annual event, which was held from 2000 to 2019, resumed in 2022 after a two-year suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's conference and seminar aim to foster collaboration with professionals and international organizations for the advancement of traditional medicine, develop safe and high-quality traditional medicines, train qualified traditional medicine practitioners for more efficient healthcare provision, and enhance public health care effectiveness through Myanmar Traditional Medicine.
