Training completion ceremony: MCRD UM provided industrial equipment and tools

The Small-Scale Industries Department under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development is implementing to create small scale industries and Rural families’ income enhancement projects starting from 2023-2024 fiscal year.

Under the project, the training completion ceremony and providing industrial aid materials to the outstanding trainees from the Bamboo based handicraft products producing training, foodstuff production technical training and sewing skill training was held at the office of General Administration Department in Dakkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Are in the morning on 16th January with the attendance of Union Minister U Hla Moe, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Deputy Minister U Myint Soe, Nay Pyi Taw Council members and officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister U Hla Moe said the Ministry is addressing the sustainable development of socio-economic life of the rural population and the small-scale industries department is implementing the systematic registration of small-scale industries, providing laboratory tests for the production of quality products, assurance of products’ quality and safety, assisting technologies by establishing Incubation Centres and market linkages by organizing trade fairs etc.

By selecting 5 outstanding trainees from each training, the industrial aid materials will be provided to those who will actually establish private industry. The Bamboo based handicraft products producing training, foodstuff production technical training and sewing skill training were opened in Aung Myin Gone Village and Tada-U Village in Lewe Township, Lelu-Ai Village in Pyinmana Township, Nyaung-Gone model Village in Dakkhinathiri Township. 5 outstanding trainees from each training will be provided 27 kinds of industrial aid materials worth 25.550 million Kyats.

Next, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo gave remark regarding with the implementing projects and the MSME development.

Then, the Union Minister, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and members, Deputy Minister and officilal provided industrial aid machineries and tools to the outstanding trainees.

Next, the Director General U Thein Toe of Small Scale Industries Departement presented certificates of training completion,  a trainee expressed words of thanks and documentary group was taken.
