Turkiye first 5th generation fighter jet is on air

Turkiye’s first domestically produced 5th generation fighter jet Kaan was introduced and made its maiden flight on Wednesday in Ankara.

The fighter is first National Combat Aircraft. Kaan is planned to replace the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft of the Turkish Air Force and to be exported to foreign states.President of Republic of Turkiye Erdogan said Turkiye’s defence capacity will be enhanced in the coming years. He promised to his supporters in Afyon meeting that new good news will be given to the nation.
