Two spectacled bears transferred back to Colombia sanctuary

Two spectacled bears are transferred from Pasto, western Colombia, to the capital Bogota to be relocated at a sanctuary exclusively for their species.

The animals were about two months old when they were rescued after they were allegedly taken away from their mother.

The animals grew up at the Center for the Rehabilitation of High Mountain Species and after failed efforts by their caretakers to release them back into the wild, they will start a new life at the Spectacled Bear Sanctuary.
