UK to host AI summit at WWII codebreaking site Bletchley Park

The UK government is set to host a two-day summit on artificial intelligence (AI) safety on the 1st and 2nd of November, at Bletchley Park, northwest of London. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that governments must be "honest" about the risks posed by artificial intelligence, as preparation to host a global summit on the issue in Britain.
He also added that while AI could bring opportunities for economic growth and the chance to solve problems. And, AI would also raise "new dangers and new fears". During his speech, he announced that Britain would create an AI Safety Institute to examine and test new types of AI and explore its risks, including social harms like bias and misinformation.
