Major General Zaw Min Tun, the leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council, provided updates on the situation in Myanmar on November 22nd. He reported on the successful repatriation of Chinese citizens and individuals from other countries who were residing illegally in the country. Emphasizing active cooperation with the Chinese Government, he outlined efforts to eradicate illegal activities in border areas.

The Major General also addressed the spread of rumors of being taken for porter jobs, denying any such actions by the Tatmadaw and assuring the public that they can live peacefully. He attributed these rumors to cover up acts committed by the MNDAA, which had recently captured 26 members of the Sangha, with four of them allegedly recruited forcefully as soldiers.

He provided details on armed exchanges, including clashes in Pauk Taw with the AA Group, armed attacks at the Muse 105-mile post by the MNDAA resulting in injuries to members of the Sangha, and an attack on Laukkai involving the use of 13 missiles. He further explained the ongoing armed conflicts in Shan State (North), Kayah State, and Rakhine State.
