Voting Demonstration: Demonstrating Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine

The trial voting demonstration with Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) was conducted at Zalun General Administration Department of Hinthada District in Ayeyawaddy Region on Friday.

After the opening speech by Chairman of Hinthada District Administration Council, the Secretary of Hinthata District Election Sub-Commission gave discussion regarding with easy and understandable voting system, vote counting in a short time and accurate voting result.

Then, the attendees participated in experimental voting through MEVM. The demonstration was participated by Chairman of Township Administration Council, the Secretary of Hinthata District Election Sub-Commission, departmental and academic personnel, representatives of political parties, locals and concerned officials.
