The World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) delivered medical supplies to the central drugstore of the Gaza Ministry of Health in Khan Yunis for the hospitals from Gaza Strip to come and collect the supplies they need.

These medical supplies were stored at a WHO warehouse in Rafah.  Sean Casey, World Health Organization emergency medical team coordinator said This is the first time we've been able to make this delivery in about 10 days. So hospitals have been running short on some supplies.

But we hope that this delivery and future deliveries will help to meet the needs of these hospitals, which are working at two or three times their normal capacity." By depositing of supplies to the central drugstore, each hospital can refill their pharmacies which are needed in providing health care services to the patients, he added.
