Work coordination meeting: Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman gave an opening address

The work coordination meeting of Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw Environmental Management Supervising Committee and Nay Pyi Taw Transboundary Haze Pollution Mitigation Work Committee was held at the meeting hall (a) of Nay Pyi Taw Council Office and attended Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo and Council members, Nay Pyi Taw level departmental officials and chairmen of district and Township Administration bodies.

In his opening speech, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo said that Nay Pyi Taw has been awarded the ASEAN Environmentally Sustainable Cites Award in 2017 and the it’s needed to implement to be Clean City, Green City and Smart City. Next, the Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Environmental Management Supervising Committee and Nay Pyi Taw Transboundary Haze Pollution Mitigation Work Committee Nay Pyi Taw Council Member U Han Thu clarified the matters related to the committees.

Then, the secretary of Nay Pyi Taw Environmental Management Supervising Committee and Nay Pyi Taw Transboundary Haze Pollution Mitigation Work Committee Director U Soe Naing from the Department of Environmental Conservation in Nay Pyi Taw clarified the work implementations and work plans to be implemented and the committees’ members discussed the related sectors and status to be collaborated.

Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo coordinated regarding with the clarifications to implement the works successfully and gave a speech of conclusion.
