Work Coordination Meeting : YGN Child Labor Elimination Committee held meeting

A work coordination meeting of the Yangon Region Child Labor Elimination Committee and the (8) work committees was held at the Mingalar Hall of the Yangon Region Government in the afternoon on Saturday.

In his remark at the meeting, patron of the Yangon Region Child Labor Elimination Committee Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein said that the development role of the youth and children in shaping the country’s future is paramount important and the invaluable resources.

In the most of the countries encountered with the challenges relating to the poverty, the child labour, young labour who have no choice of learning opportunity to be complete can be seen. The Child Labor Elimination project in the Yangon Region is needed to implement with collective effort included Ministry of Labour, NGOs, civil society organizations and INGOs for the better image of the country.

Next, the Chairman of Region Child Labour Elimination Committee Region Minister for Ethnic Affairs clarified regarding with the formation of the (8) work committees and the committee secretary regarding with the duties and tasks of those work committees. Then, the chairmen of the committee explained the relevant work implementations.Afterward, the committee patron region Chief Minister coordinated necessary matters and gave a speech of conclusion.
