Work Performance: Cleaning activities and School Family Day

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein accompanied by the State Government Ministers oversaw the clearance of bushes and garbage at No. (3) Basic Education High School campus of Mawlamyine Township on Saturday, collectively conducted by departmental personnel, Members of Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, social organizations and locals.
These weekly cleaning activities were conducted every Saturday at the Basic Education Schools in Mon State for clean, green and peaceful learning environ for students. And, the Chief Minister gave instructions to the officials to pay special emphasis for meeting the schools’ characteristics, to improve the learning environ and to collaboratively implement the school-based activities.
On the same day, the Chief Minister and party attended the school family day festival and award presenting ceremony of Mon State for 2023 - 2024 academic year celebrated at the State Hall in Mawlamyine Township and cut the ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the festival.
At the ceremony, the Chief Minister enjoyed the stage performance of students from No. 8 Basic Education High School. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the need to turn out well-educated person as the country is built mainly based on human resources for the continuous nation’s development.
The government is making exerted efforts for providing education in all aspects such as new constructions and preparations of school infrastructures as well as providing teaching aids in order to create a good learning environment for the students.
The Chief Minister called on collaborative efforts to parents, teachers, local admin organizations and locals for providing quality education from basic level. The ceremony was followed by the award presenting session.
And, the Chief Minister and concerned officials presented awards to outstanding students. And, they enjoyed the music performances of No. (9), No. (5) and No. (6) Basic Education High Schools and presented cash of honor to the students who participated in performance.
And, the Chief Minister and concerned officials warmly greeted the students and parents at the ceremony and toured around the booths featuring technology, science and arts displayed by the students.
