Xi meets chairman of Vietnamese National Assembly

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday met with Chairman of the National Assembly of Viet Nam in Beijing, calling on the two countries to work together to further advance progress in building a China-Viet Nam community with a shared future.

Xi urged joint efforts by the two sides are needed to get more achievements in building a China-Vietnam community, modernization, benefit for their people and make greater contributions to the global socialist cause. The Vietnamese National Assembly is ready to keep close communication and exchanges with China’s National People’s Congress to play a positive role in enhancing friendship between the two countries, Chairman of the National Assembly of Viet Nam said.
