Demonstration of MEVM: Bago Region CM participated in trial voting

The demonstration of Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine- MEVM  and trial voting was held at the City Hall of the Bago Township with the attendance of the Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win on Thursday morning.

The event was also attended by member of the Union Election Commission U Soe Oo, region government ministers, departmental officials, chairmen and executive party members of 9 political parties, social organizations and local residents.

First, the Chief Minister delivered an opening remark. Then, member of the Union Election Commission gave a speech. It was followed by a power point presentation about the MEVM.

Then, the Chief Minister, region ministers, departmental officials and attendees participated in trial voting. It’s reported that MEVM demonstration and trial voting will be conducted in townships within Bago Region.
