EU Commission chief meets Swiss President as talks restart

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen meets with Swiss President as talks resume over the relationship between Switzerland and the EU.Switzerland and the EU are striving to stabilize and develop their bilateral relations.

In addition to bilateral relations, common geopolitical and security challenges were discussed on Monday. The relevant participants gave sector-wise discussion on the situation in Europe and the Middle East, including the commitment of Switzerland and the EU to peace and security.
