Fake news spreading: Illegal subversive medias spreading fake news

The illegal subversive media outlet “Khit Thit” is found out to be spreading fake news distorted for misleading of the public.

In one of its fake news, it’s described that the security members arrested about 20 youth pedestrians at the junction between Nat Mauk and Myothit Townships of Magway Region on 23rd April and the young people in Kwin Gyi, Aung Thar, Thee Chaung and Hta Naung Gone Villages were captured in their houses.

Regarding with that news, a responsible official on the security measures replied that that peace of news is not true and such incidence did not occur. The security members is undertaking security measures such as patrolling and inspections under the security ground together with the local responsible persons and collaborating by the local residents not to hide out by the terrorists in the villages of Nat Mauk Township and peace and stability to be prevailing.

Those illegal subversive media outlets are spreading the fake news and disinformation intentionally for the misunderstanding on the members of security forces and since the illegal subversive media outlets are feeling panic on the citizens to be learned the military skills and served the Defense duties due to the People’s Military Service Law.
