Golf Tournament: Commemorating the 76th Anniversary Union Day

To commemorate the 76th anniversary Union Day which will fall on 12th February, Mon State Government organized a golf tournament in Mawlamyine on Sunday.

Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein said the state government is prioritizing for promoting the sports standards, and the golf tournaments have been held aiming to have relaxation, to possess good health and to promote friendship among the players.

The Chief Minister and the Commander of Southeast Command teed off the golf ball to commence the tournament, and enjoyed the competition of the golfers. 200 golfers from Mon and Kayin States took part the in the tournament.
