Myanmar Police Force Day: 59th anniversary celebration held in Taunggyi

A commemoration ceremony for 59th anniversary of Myanmar Police Force Day was held in Taunggyi on Sunday. Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye attended the ceremony and made a speech, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding society through the adherence to law, honesty, and empathy.

During the ceremony, Police Brig-Gen Tin KoKo, the Head of Shan State Police Force, read out a message from the Chief of the Myanmar Police Force. Honorary medals, certificates, and cash awards were then presented to the recipients of honorary titles.

Additionally, cash rewards were distributed to members of the Shan State Police Force and the Supporting Unit. The outstanding performance award winners were also recognized with certificates and cash rewards, while individuals who had contributed significantly to apprehending drug and weapons smugglers and excelled in their work received promotions. After the ceremony, attendees enjoyed a screening of a commemorative video clip and explored various booths set up for the occasion.
