First Aid training: It’s opened in No (2) BEHS, Magway Township

By having First Aids skills for the students during the summer holidays, to enable to give first aid treatment and seek medical help as fast as possible for oneself or family members or people at envir on when the sudden ailment or sustaining wounds happens, the First Aids Training is opened at No (2) Basic Education High School in Magway Township. The training is being attended by 33 students from Grade-4 to -Grade-6 for four days from 8th to 11th of May.

Thet Lwin Oo (Director), Region Education office, Magway Region, said "This training is opened with the aim at spending the summer holidays in productive way for the students. Besides, the first aids skills for the students or for everybody are needed to give emergency treatment and to save the life in the emergency cases before the medical treatment is received."

During the training, 15 subjects including facts about the Red Cross, basic concepts of First Aid, analyzing the patient, wound and bleeding etc. will be taught.

Omma Cho, Chief of Township Red Cross Society, said "They will understand about the Red Cross gradually and they will get knowledge the first aid skills which can save the live with a small amount of equipment. As everybody may suffer sudden ailment or accident, those emergency cases can be treated not to be worse and saved the life with the simple techniques of first aid." 

Su Twe Tar,Trainee, said "I attend this training as I have a sense of helping others. I have attended computer training, scout training and Red Cross Training."

This training is the third one among the trainings opened in this summer. The fourth first aid training will be opened in No (1) Basic Education High School in Magway Township.
