Preparation Measures: Plans for Nay Pyi Taw Water Splash Walk

A coordination meeting of Organizing Committee and Sub-meetings for 2024 Nay Pyi Taw Water Splash Walk Festival was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.           

Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said the festival will bring the essence of having unity of the staff, and integration of people and the government. Calling for cooperation of all staff in the festival, the Union Minister added that arrangements have been made for the people to celebrate joyous occasion at Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Pavilion and Water Splash walk Festival.

The attendees discussed the work progress including cooperation and coordination for joyful celebration in the Capital Nay Pyi Taw, preparations for the Water Splash Walk Festival, and administrative matters as well as the installation of pavilions, water access, Yein dance performance, and electricity supply.

It is learnt that as a special program, K-Pop singers and famous artists from Korea will participate in this year Myanmar traditional Thingyan Water Festival. Moreover, Russian Embassy in Myanmar will celebrate the festival with a pavilion, and Myanmar—China Friendship Association will join the festive occasion.
