Belt and Road: Union Minister for Labour attends 2023 Ministerial Forum

Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung attended the 2023 Belt and Road Ministerial Forum for International Cooperation in Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management on Thursday.

While delivering a speech, the Union Minister stressed that the Ministry will actively participate in conducting disaster risk reduction and preventive measures together with employees, employers, relevant organizations and stakeholders while establishing strong rules and regulations and complying modern technologies.

The forum was conducted with 3 sessions including the First Council Meeting, and released a statement to accelerate the international cooperation on workplace safety, disaster risk reduction and emergency rescue.
