Chinese, German FMs meet in Munich

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang met with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany on Saturday.

Wang said that China stands ready to work with the German side to rise above disruptions, build more consensus, and understand and support each other on issues concerning each other’s core interests.German counterpart said that the world is facing conflicts and challenges, and that Germany and China should enhance cooperation in areas of common interests, show international responsibilities, properly handle differences, and meet each other halfway.

The two sides also exchanged views on the conflict in Gaza.
